Tomares is a residential town in the Aljarafe, the plateau that overlooks Seville from the west, about 5 kilometres from the Triana bridge. Quiet streets, gated communities with gardens and pools, parks and every service of a small town: supermarkets, chemists, restaurants and schools close at hand.
It is the natural choice if you travel by car, as a family or as a group and want more space than in the old town: parking is easy, homes are roomier and nights are quiet. In summer, a swim after a day of sightseeing is very welcome.
Central Seville is about 15 minutes away by car, and metropolitan buses link Tomares with the city. To visit the Cathedral, the Alcázar or Plaza de España, the easiest way is by car or taxi, parking near the centre. Our apartment in Tomares has three bedrooms, a terrace, a parking space and a communal pool in summer, in a quiet residential area.
