Los Remedios is the residential neighbourhood next to Triana, across the river: straight tree-lined streets, buildings from the sixties and seventies and an easy neighbourhood life, with supermarkets, chemists and cafés on every corner. Its main street, Calle Asunción, is one of the busiest shopping streets in Seville.
In April the neighbourhood has its big week: the Feria fairground is set up at its western end and the whole city crosses the bridge to the casetas. The rest of the year, Parque de los Príncipes is the locals' green space and the riverside offers a flat walk to the Torre del Oro.
The centre is closer than it looks: cross the San Telmo bridge and you are at Puerta de Jerez, with the Cathedral and the Alcázar a short walk away. The metro stops at Plaza de Cuba. It is a good choice if you travel as a family or want more space and calm while still walking almost everywhere. Our apartments in the neighbourhood are on Calle Pedro Pérez Fernández and Virgen de Todos los Santos: flats for up to six guests, designed for families and groups.

No. Crossing the San Telmo bridge you reach Puerta de Jerez in about 15 minutes on foot, and from there the Cathedral and the Alcázar are a step away. The metro also stops at Plaza de Cuba.
The best: the fairground is in the neighbourhood itself, so you can walk to and from the casetas without relying on taxis.
Yes. It is residential and calm, with parks, supermarkets and shops nearby, and apartments tend to be roomier than in the old town.
